Damon has been working within the Hairdressing Industry from the day he left grammar school at the age of 17.

He was able to turn his Passion into his full time Profession over 23 years ago.

Since 1985 Damon has managed and grown three very different salons. For the last 14 years he has run his own independent company : Lau Hairdressing Ltd

This enabled him to strive further to achieve his own personal goals and to teach to his team that Quality does really Matter . He is the artistic leader and driving force behind Lau Hairdressing Ltd.

He has been described as a outstanding hairdresser who, as well as looking after a huge clientele of all ages, has also achieved professional recognition with artistic work being featured in international hair magazines including English Vogue, Hair Now, Hair Flair, Hair for You, Hair and Beauty and the commuters bible, "Ms London". Also more recently Lau Hairdressing has been featured in international publications of FHM and GQ Magazine.

Damon is a State Registered Senior Hairdresser and also a Fully Qualified NVQ Educator teaching within the company's own Training Academy. Damon has also gained the prestigious title as a Philip Kingsley Registered Trichotherapist. One of only a handful of specifically trained specialists throughout the whole of Europe.

Recently Damon has joined the Lecturing Team for 365 day Hairdressing and now shares the 365 Philosophy and  knowledge with other hairdressers from around the country.
